WWDC app on the AppleTV needs to cache content longer

I was watching a WDDC video on the AppleTV 64 GB when I had to pause it and was not able to get back to it until the following day. The WWDC app displayed the video right where I paused it and when I hit play, showed the spinning wheel for over 30 mins. I finally had to stop and restart the app. When I have so much available memory, why not cache the entire video and start playback immediately instead of giving me this bad experience?
